For the foreseeable future, Russian businesses will have to have permission from the Russian government to do business with these nations. Of course, they not too oddly correspond to nations that have put sanctions on Russian big wigs, and their business concerns.
The countries and territories considered "unfriendly" by the Russian government include "Australia, Albania, Andorra, United Kingdom, including Jersey, Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Gibraltar, the member states of the European Union, Iceland, Canada, Liechtenstein, Micronesia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Republic of Korea, San Marino, North Macedonia, Singapore, the United States, Taiwan, Ukraine, Montenegro, Switzerland, Japan," according to a decree published on the government's website... When Andorra and San Marino are unfriendly to you, you know you are in trouble.
Clearing up their identity: The famous brand of Vodka "Stolichnaya" is going to change its marketing. It's made in Latvia now instead of Russia and it wants the world to know it. Not that I drink a lot of vodka, but most brands sold in the U.S. are distilled outside Russia.
