One classic case of deception and one cactus flower
This guy sounded like an owl hooting on top of my chimney. I rushed out and discovered it was a dove. I thought it was your garden variety Mourning Dove which we have and you could see just about anywhere in the country. I took the picture anyway. But looking at it just now it's obvious it's a White-Winged Dove which is only found in the Southwest in the US, southward into South America.
Not at all deceptive
