I just spoke with Masq on the phone. They are going right now to try to arrange an escort into the area to pick up their things. Their things seem to be safe but no guarantees when they may be able to pick them up. The cabin rental company arranged for their hotel last night.

To CW: thanks for the update. I'm glad you're on (or near) the scene to help out if needed & let us know the latest.

To mamcu: There was some discussion of next year's Gathering, mostly revolving around having it in the east this time. Once things are less...exciting out there, or more likely once people are home, there'll be a poll in the ATPo community LJ to choose among several cities.
