I appreciate everyone chiming in about the new TV shows. I don't watch as much any more, but it's nice to have recommendations from people whose tastes I sort of understand.
Oddly Nebraska and Colorado have negotiated separate deals to leave the Big 12 after this school year rather than after next. The problem having been that the conference's procedure for leaving in two years was largely set, the one for leaving in one year was more vague but distinctly punitive. Colorado's willingness to stay around for another year if necessary worked much to their favor. I cannot imagine that Nebraska is at all happy about having to pay about half again more than Colorado, but it certainly could have been much worse for both of them. Hopefully everyone has decided to get on with their lives now, and end this semi-amicably.
