Stormy weather, better now

I'm in the middle of fall cleaning. I haven't been helped much by having dust storms two days in a row this week. A day of vacuuming pretty much has to be redone immediately. Sirius who likes to sleep in a chair facing the vent has had a serious case of the sneezes from the a/c blowing the dust around. In my neighborhood we did get some heavy rain and a little hail. Other parts of the area were much worse off with baseball-sized hail and power lines down across the freeway. There were four tornadoes in the Flagstaff area yesterday. The area where ATPo stayed in June wasn't effected, but there was water rushing down some of those streets several inches deep again earlier this week.

My GF's house is in the central Phx area. She and most of her neighbors got pelleted. Windows smashed in, walls crumbled, power out. Everyone's safe, but it's a big mess there.

Yes, they say glass contractors are very busy right now. I guess it was Mesa where they had power poles falling into peoples houses. Very scary. I'm glad my power lines are buried.

I heard about the weather out that way! & I wondered how the Ariz. contingent was. Glad to hear all are safe, & I hope the Sculptor's house damage was minimal & easily repaired. And covered by insurance.

She's busy getting quotes from handymen and contractors and saving up the receipts and photos for the insurance company. She's got some damage there, but is in better shape for recovery than some of her neighbors. I think hell itself descended on their part of town!
