It's so well done and so well acted. I pretty much predicted what would happen last week to ponygirl2000, and still liked it. But I don't know if I could take another series of that story. Train-wreck Mary, envious Edith, Sybil the suffragette and her sidekick Branson the Irish socialist, Smilin' Sarah, Thomas the bounder, John Bates, who'd fade away to nothing if all his secrets were told, plus World War One and the Irish Easter Rebellion don't add up to a happy ending, do they?.

Well, I'm thinking that we need the war to really shake things up for the show. The characters were, as you say, getting too predictable. I'm hoping for a true disruption next season rather than a lot of plucky war efforts. Regardless it's soapy fun!
