For those who may be unaware, our ATPo friend, honorh's apartment in Japan is in the area of the towns hit by the tsunami this morning.

She was my first thought when I heard the news this morning. I just hope she's ok.

She had the most casual post yesterday (today in Japan). Hope that means she knew there wasn't anything to be too worried about. News always seems worse from far away.

I'm sure that post was from before the earthquake, unfortunately. Communications all over Japan are a mess now. I'm not even positive she lived on the coast. I thought I saw some pictures of a harbor from her, but I'm not sure it was her town. The nearby city she mentioned in the post before the last one was definitely damaged.

From the time-stamp on her books post, it looks like she updated her LJ about two hours before the earthquake hit.

If Ofunato is south of her city, she's probably not right on the coast--as far as I can tell using Google Maps.

Her best friend mermaidrain hadn't heard anything either, nor had her parents.
She's been put on the missing list. Someone who lives in Japan posted that communications are a huge mess, so hopefully that's the reason we haven't heard from her.
