I think 29 things would be a bit much, let alone doing it over 29 days.
1 Which Star Trek is your favorite
TNG. Also the most annoying because they ate up so many sci-fi ideas about the time I would have been interested in writing for real.
2 Which Star Trek was your least favorite
I didn't actually watch ENT so I have to say VOY. It tended to emphasize the preachiest parts of TOS, TNG and DS9 without the redeeming characters. The arrival of 7 of Nine saved the series for me.
3. Who are your favorite main characters
TOS - Kirk - He's kind of a sexist jerk at times, but otherwise what's not to like?
TNG - Troy - A character that was wasted in so many episodes. Still I liked her a lot.
DS9 - Kira - As long as she wasn't whining about Bajor, she was what made the show hum along.
VOY - Chakotay at first and then 7 of Nine as she settled in.
4. Who are your least favorite main characters
TOS - Bones - Awful character, a bigot, constantly whining and arguing over nothing. D. Kelly was a genius for making him lovable despite it all.
TNG - Data - Please! A retread cross between the Tin Man and Spock without the redeeming charm of either. How many times did we have to listen to him babble about his missing emotions? Why did he spend so many stories spouting politically correct drivel like an old Soviet movie? Instead of a robot officer they might as well have had a political commissar on board.
DS9 - Jake - Poor kid, the writers never gave him a chance.
VOY - Captain Janeway - I realize Kate Mulgrew was an emergency replacement, but Captain Schoolmarm never really worked as a leader and thus the whole series suffered.
5. What was the first episode you watched?
By odd coincidence, I saw "Is There No Truth No Beauty" (the one about the blind lady accompanying the ugly-ugly alien) at least three times be fore I saw any of the rest of TOS. I saw none of it first run. Late in grad school I bought a TV; the reruns were on every weekday. I saw all 70+ epsiodes in a few short weeks.
6. Favorite actors
TOS - Leonard Nimoy
TNG - Patrick Stewart
DS9 - Nana Visitor, Michael Dorn (I think the series would have died a couple years earlier without Worf)
VOY - Roxanne Dawson - She made the pretty lean part of B'Elanna enjoyable.
7. Favorite species
The original Klingons, the TNG Klingons not nearly so mean and a lot more stereotyped.
8. Least favorite species
The god-awful preachy humans. ;o)
9) Favorite minor character
Lwaxanna Troy, of course
!0 What do you think of the Star Trek reboot.
It was awful. Bad science, bad sci-fi, the worse kind of time travel story, etc. Very much violated the spirit of all the other Star Treks. The studio should have had the courage to come up with new characters and not play on people's nostalgia for the old ones. They really shouldn't have labeled it Star Trek at all. Studios should leave fan-fic to the fans.
