The field seems very thin this year. Not a lot of depth beyond the first few seeds. The only real surprise so far has been Colorado, which a week and a half ago was a long shot to get into the tournament let alone being in a game on Saturday.

ETA: Re Missouri, no, I didn't have them winning the tournament. Congrats to Norfolk St. At best Missouri was always one injury away from collapse, and didn't figure to match up well against Michigan State.

Yeah. Re: Colorado - I'm amazed to see a team that got spanked by Maryland (playing with only 7 at the time) win a tourney game.

And my bracket is already shot to hell, what with VCU beating what I thought was a really good Wichita St. team.
