Discovered how I'm related to one person with the same name as me. A cousin's kid living in England now.

Every year more information about us creeps onto the Internet. Today I found my Master's thesis, though sorry, it's not available as an e-book according to the site! I'd be tempted to write a review under a pseudonym, but probably nobody would read that either. ;o)

Found my first Russian professor has just retired at age 70 and she's still pretty.

My last name is not at all common. I used to think there was only one person with my first and last name in the world. but thanks to the Internet I learned there were actually three of us about the same age, the others a third cousin and likely a fifth cousin.

Not so odd that there is now at least one more, I had about 30 first cousins on my father's side. Interesting that my young name-sake first-cousin-once-removed is also interested in foreign languages.
