It's hard to take pictures of a black cat, especially one who gets spooked when the camera beeps, so I was pleased when I got a shot of Sirius sitting on top of the fridge yesterday. Not nearly enough contrast to see what his face looks like (very common with him), but it looks ominous in a cute way. So hence an icon. In fact, Sirius makes quite a racket on those infrequent occasions when he gets up on the fridge and the kitchen cabinets you see above. He yowls and meows about as loud as he ever does. I think it's just to get my attention, but I'm not sure why. Yesterday he settled in and took his midday nap up there.

He's a wonderful icon, but fans would love an even bigger version! Even if it doesn't show more detail.

Oh, great face! I can certainly see what he looks like, and he's wonderful. Very serious (so to speak), but maybe it's just submitting to portraiture.

Serious Face! My Harvey (also black) is incapable of Serious Face. But similarly impossible to photograph.

Yes, stern is what I'd call it. From above he looks timid, face-on stern and with his mouth open... dangerous like a panther.

He was really cute with both his paws dangling like that. Glad I got a picture of at least one.
