Normally I wouldn't show commercials here, but if you haven't seen this you ought to.
I admit I was surprised when I got a good look at the little girl the first time I saw this, but then couldn't wait to see her dad. I always ate Cheerios when I was a kid, and am glad General Mills decided to weather the blast of trolls they surely got for doing this. It's about time someone did. I should mention the 'likes' on Cheerios youtube channel for this vid out weigh the 'dislikes' about 25 to 1.

Am I the only tv slut on my flist??? Who doesn't have the ability to not see the commercials?(apparently not, just read honorh's reply, she's seen them too. Another person on my flist from the UK posted the same vid, we had a long discussion about it. They thought it odd that the US didn't have interracial commercials until now...and I thought, no, actually we've had them for quite some time - I remember seeing them in the late 1990s...)From:

Also the number of tv shows with interracial couples. I'm watching at least four at the moment, including a daytime serial.
Racism exists regardless. But the good news is...it appears to be more and more regulated to people over the age of 30. The younger group isn't as racist as the older. And the majority isn't...clearly.
