An earthquake hit during the Oklahoma -Oklahoma State game during a field goal attempt. You can notice the TV camera that was suspended over the field swaying crazily in the video it took. The kick was made anyway. I was up in the stand years ago during a football game, when a similar quake hit. There was some damage not too far from town, but since there is almost always vibration in the stands during a game, I didn't notice anything at all.
What might have been:
Yikes, the one thing I did not want to happen yesterday was for Missouri to ending up playing Florida State in the National Championship game. Seriously, If Ohio State had played first and lost as they did, I'd have been really torn about whether or not to hope Missouri would win. As it was the MU Tigers ran out of gas against Auburn in the 3rd quarter much as they did against South Carolina. Both defenses were terrible. Missouri just couldn't keep pace anymore. Better to crap out when they did than in the national title game, and unfortunately I've thought all along they weren't up to taking on Florida St. MU-Auburn went over 100 points total. Unless Auburn finds some defense, Florida St-Auburn could also break the 100 pt. mark.
Yeah it's sad neither Missouri nor Ohio State won their games for my personal benefit, but both have had great seasons and both have one more game to play. Better luck in the bowls, I hope.
