The Facts: Mary of England finally decided to let her sister Elizabeth be the next Queen in October of 1558. The attack on Calais actually occurred the January before. The important Francis at Calais was, of course, the Duke of Guise. Stay tuned for the next exciting episode to find out how the battle turned out.
They seemed to have run short of budget for story this episode, but the budget for filming folks rolling in bed was more than ample. The sub-plot with Greer's future husband was perhaps a bit thin, but at least Greer had some story this week which is more than Lola or Kenna could say.
