Eight things that annoy you.
A.k.a. grumpy old man day.
1. The cat repeatedly begging me to get up after I've just gone to bed.
2. People who go to the gym to work out, but insist on parking as close to the place as possible so they don't have to walk so far.
3. My cheapo grocery store when it doesn't keep the shelves stocked. Sometimes the same item will be off the shelf for weeks. If you want it you have to go elsewhere.
4. Drivers who treat every day driving like a stock car race, especially those who weave in and out to get where they are going two seconds faster.
5. Drivers who tailgate.
6. Football announcers using the phrase "take it to the house" to mean "running for a touchdown." Were these people never children? Everyone knew that taking the ball to the house meant the game was over, not that you scored.
7. News reporters referring to policemen as "cops." It's fine if those being interviewed do it, but reporters ought to be more respectful.
8. People saying " I graduated high school..." I feel like they shouldn't have graduated from high school... (Webster's says, once upon a time, the way I don't like was the norm, but not lately)... Maybe they did graduate their school and should be fined for defacing it when they marked it up. Did they graduate it for height or volume?

"Graduated from"--yes! I'm also not happy to hear "bored of" but my own children say it.
Is your store called Trader Joe's, by any chance?

The store I was referring to is a discount place. I go there for canned goods and the like and household needs like laundry and dish soap. I usually go to Sprouts for fruit, veggies, and meat.
