Define bad luck

It's Friday the 13th and I usually have bad luck on Saturday the 14th.
But today:
1a. My garage door opener fell off my sun visor and hit me in the head while I was driving.
2a. A frozen dinner I just purchased fell it of its box.
3a. I forgot to put the veggies and spices in the ramen I was making for lunch.
But...
1b. When the opener hit me I was driving 5 miles an hour in a parking lot not forty on the way there.
2b. The frozen dinner fell out as I was putting it in the freezer. The dish inside was still sealed so I stuck it back in the box and on into the freezer.
3b. I realized I was making watery noodles one minute into the microwave time. I pulled the noodles out, put in the stuff, reinserted the noodles into the microwave, and it worked fine without even adding more heating time.

All's well that ends well.

I was just thinking I'd escaped the curse tonight, on my way to find just the right beer to put in the chili, and then I turned the corner and got stuck in a long line of cars waiting for the very slow train to pass, and then I got boxed into the parking lot, but at least they did have one pack of Negra Modelo left, and since that was my third store looking for it, I think I got off light, too.

Probably some other beer would have been fine, but I wasn't sure what.
