1. Do you like blue cheese? Yes. I can remember being a kid and not liking it yet.
2. Coke or Pepsi? Coke, but I don't drink either much anymore. Too fattening. (Pepsi always leaves a bitter after taste in my mouth.)
3. Do you own a gun? No, never have owned one. It's sometimes hard to wrap my head around the fact that there used be one in the house the whole time I was growing up. An old shotgun with no ammo!
4. What flavor of Kool-aid? I haven't had it in ages. I think I liked grape as a kid. Pretty much had grown out of it by high school.
5. Hot dogs? Yes. I do wish I could get ones in casings again. The snap of biting in was half the fun. What on it? Yellow mustard, then just about any of the popular toppings except ketchup. I like ketchup, but it doesn't belong on hot dogs!
6. Favorite tv show? I haven't been watching enough lately to have a favorite.
7. Do you believe in ghosts? Nope. I do believe in very real seeming hallucinations. I experienced one during an awards ceremony when I was graduating from high school. I looked toward a girl I knew, who was not four feet away from me and absolutely saw a different girl we both knew. A big shock when I realized my eyes had badly deceived me. I can understand how people might think they've actually seen a ghost.
8. What do you drink in the mornings? Water if anything.
9. Can you do a push-up? Last time I tried, yep.
10. Favorite Jewelry? None
11. Favorite hobby? It varies. Right now, translating.
12. Do you have ADD? Nope, I knew a kid in grade school who had it bad. After a year they sent him off to a county school for kids with handicaps severe enough (worse than just needing a wheelchair or being deaf) that kept them from getting along in regular school.
13. Do you wear glasses? Just for reading now.
14. Favorite cartoon character? Daffy Duck.
15. Three things you did yesterday -- Went to the bank. Bought some fruit. Played with the cat.
17. Current worries? The cat's health has been iffy lately. He seems fine, now, but with cats it's hard to tell.
18. Do you believe in magic? Nope. I can happily fantasize about it, though.
19. Favorite place to be? In the mountains when it's cool and I'm by myself.
20. How did you ring in the new year? Slept soundly.
21. Where would you like to go? Thinking of visiting a National Monument not so far away soon.
23. Favorite movie? It varies.
24. Favorite color? blue-green
25. Do you like sleeping on satin sheets? No
26. Can you whistle? Absolutely and in tune. If you don't care about how awful it sounds I can whistle two notes at once!
27. Where are you now? Home
28. Where would you rather be right now? I'm happy here.
29. Favorite food? Hard to say, but I'm craving homemade tacos.
30. Thing you hate most to do? Mop the floors?
31. Best job you can think of. If it weren't for all the outside distractions, teaching in college was pretty nice.
32. What's in your pockets? Nada.
33. Last thing that made you laugh? Wondering on the last question if I was wearing enough clothes to have pockets. Yep, I'm mostly dressed, but I had to think about it for a split second. ;o)
34. Favorite animal? At the moment my cat.
35. What's your most recent injury? Sore muscles from cleaning up clutter.
36. How many TV’s are in your house - Oh, my god, three. One in here with the computer, one on the dinning room table, and one in the living room. Did I mention I don't actually watch TV much anymore?
37. Worst pain ever? Leg cramps. I get them in bed from nervous movements in my sleep. Getting one wakes me instantly. I have to force myself through the pain to get out of bed and put weight on my leg. If I do it quickly enough the pain disappears. If I don't I spend several minutes in agony and the rest of the night in pain.
38. Do you like to dance? I'm not exactly a good dancer. I used to like square dancing when I was young.
39. Are your parents still alive? No.
40. Do you enjoy camping? I used to, but having a nice bed and a full bathroom are more attractive than the adventure of camping these days.
