I bought a new mandolin today. It's sounds fantastic. Mandolins are like violins. Most of them sound fine, but a few of them just make you sit up and take notice. It's traditional to sell your old instrument when you get a new one. But I can't help it, I just love the much different sound of the old one as well.

Make new friends, but keep the old.
One is silver and the other gold

Hmmm. I don't remember you ever mentioning a musical bent. You've been hiding your light under a bushel! Mandolins make some of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard.

Actually I've been hiding my multiple deficiencies of talent... I like playing anyway.
