Twenty, good grief!

Haven't been to the grocery store yet this week. Haven't needed to.

I went to Barnes & Noble yesterday, the first non-grocery store I've been to since this started. It was also the last store I visited before I started self-isolating. It looked pretty much normal except for all the masks. They put up a plastic shield in front of the cashiers so they won't get breathed on quite so much. I bought some magazines, and a book about John C. Fremont, one of the weird characters of mid 1800's America. I also bought a book of puzzles to replace the one I'm finishing, that I bought on my last visit in March. This may have been the longest time period during which I haven't visited a bookstore since early in high school when there wasn't a bookstore within miles of where I lived.

I've been working all these months on a personal project, which I didn't think I'd live long enough to complete. Looks like it will be finished late this year.

For entertainment I've been rewatching the Cadfael mysteries starring Derek Jacobi from the mid 1990s. It's been so long since I've seen the stories that I don't remember most of it. It's odd watching video in the old pre-HD format, but you get used to it.
