I expected a fairly ho-hum clone of Crossing Jordan or Cold Case, but it was pretty good. It's still basically a crime show, but I think it shows promise. "Bones' the forensic anthropologist seems a lot more human than most of the lady crime solvers we've seen. DB is excellent as the FBI man 'with a soul.' (must have been another gypsy curse) ;o)

I liked it! I have a few reservations but it was the pilot. Nice chemistry, good supporting cast, liked the actress - I'm hoping that whole martial arts every few scenes bit gets downplayed - and DB was great. Hopefully I'll remember to watch next week.

Hey! I quite enjoyed it, too. I was afraid to say anything, in case it disappears in a week or two. I thought DB did a good job, and his chemistry with the forensic anthropologist is very appealing. And she's great--just off-kilter enough to be interesting and still believable.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed on this one.

Yeah, if we bury our comments

maybe the suits will miss them and decide to give the show a chance. I liked when the main character kicked her ex out of her apartment...after breaking the TV and rejecting the booty call.

I like the fact, she doesn't 'get' any of the pop culture references. Someone I can relate to!

Arrgh! I was out tonight & forgot to tape it. Hope the pilot isn't essential to understanding the rest of the season.

It's really not that kind of show. Don't expect much of an arc in this one. The essentials are the scientist is a social misfit and wanna-be detective, the FBI guy both respects her work and seems kinda sweet on her. Both he and she are very dedicated and a bit out of touch with the world at large. Her coworkers influence her as his do him. The two groups don't think very highly of each other. In the pilot, the two solve crime (well, duh) and help each other try to act more human.

I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I don't watch the crime drama shows but tuned in because of DB. The characters are interesting (not just the leads) and I think it's an interesting premise. The storyline was a bit of a stretch, but then I expect that on tv. Is it really possible to create holograms like that?

As far as I know, they can't yet. But, I have no doubt people are working on it.
