Yep, as I've been stating for a very long time - NY is going to take down Trump. It's been chafing at the bit to do it for about five years now. They didn't have enough evidence prior to the election, but were gathering it.
They couldn't go after him while he was President, but when he stopped being President - wham. NY has multiple law suits against Trump. One's a criminal action (he was indicted recently by James), and then this. The reason Letitia James backed out of the Governor race is she's busy taking down Trump. LOL!
He'd have been better off not running for and becoming President. NY probably wouldn't have gone after him.
