1. What were your favorite mall stores when you were in high school?
Famous-Barr which was the local big department store and B. Dalton Books.
2. Have you ever accidentally caught something on fire?
Nothing of any importance.
3. Are you at all interested in fashion?
Uhm, no.
5. Would you ever be interested in going scuba diving?
I can't even dive off the low diving board at the pool without water pressure problems and intense pain.
6. What posters did you have on your walls growing up?
Didn't have any, even in college.
7. What was the first video game you remember playing?
A version of Pong.
8. How often do you watch television?
I watch the local news at 5:00, then watch the "coming attractions" at the beginning of the national news at 5:30. If there is something particularly interesting to be shown, I might watch part or all of the national news. Otherwise I turn the set off for the day.
10. Where and when did you last go out to eat at a sit down restaurant?
May to breakfast with a friend at a café less than a half mile away.
11. What do you find more annoying, a sore throat or a headache?
Headache
12. What do you miss most about the past?
16 cent per gallon gasoline?
13. Do you know how to play darts?
Yes. I had a set from the time I was about 12.
14. What kind of computer do you have?
A couple of lap tops, one for the Internet, one for work, and an old desk top that I use for editing photos.
15. Have you ever gone out of your area for a concert?
Nope. I walked to concerts in college, and only needed to go a short distance across the river the few times I went after school.
16. What is your favorite board game from your childhood?
Texas Millionaire, a game my father bought for me at a gift shop somewhere. It came with play money in denominations up to $5,000,000.
18. Did you win any superlatives in school?
Nope. I went to a big high school and wasn't that popular.
19. Did you ever own a bean bag chair?
No. My brother and his wife had one. It wasn't that comfortable.
20. What magazines do you read regularly?
I like trains, I read a couple train magazines fairly regularly. I don't subscribe to any anymore. The last was National Geographic, it was shrinking fast so I quit before it stopped printing.
21. Have you ever seen a magic show?
Not in person. They were on TV fairly often in the 1950s.
22. What’s better: a surprise or knowing you’re going to get it?
Surprise. Waiting is can be difficult.
23. What’s the last thing you got in a vending machine?
I'm sure it was a soda. And it was a good long time ago.
24. What are some hobbies you’d like to try and pick up?
I've got plenty of hobbies, including wasting time on the Internet.
25. Describe your personality in six words?
Introverted, sometimes funny but mostly boring.
26. What are some places that you've been that you'd like to go to again?
Crater Lake, Copenhagen, Chaco Canyon (odd all start with 'C'!)
27. Ever taken pictures in a photo booth?
Nope, by the time I personally had the money for that kind of thing I had a camera.
28. When was the last time you did something for the first time?
At some point during COVID I wore a mask in the bank!
