1. What was the last thing you put off doing?
Calling a particular business. I'll do it before the end of the year.
2. Do you eat your dinner at a dining table, coffee table or off your lap?
It starts on the dining table, but the TV is well beyond one end of the table and if there is something interesting on the news, I may move to my recliner with dinner in my lap and a better view of the TV.
3. Do you prefer holidays where you relax or actually do things?
Relax. I don't give or receive presents anymore. I just like to sit around, maybe do a jig saw puzzle, talk with Tucson relatives. I do take a day off from my daily routines Thanksgiving and Christmas.
4. Have you ever attended a black tie formal event?
Nope. Never was in a position to. My father did a time or two when he was a corporate executive. He made a point of showing off the top hat he rented to us kids. It was still in style for going to such events, then. I think he liked dressing up, but he hated the events themselves.
5. Can you snap your fingers?
Yes, but I had to practice it for quite a while in my junior high days to actually make the noise.
6. Have you ever broken a window?
I accidently threw a ball through a window once, and may have broken one from the inside accidentally bumping it with a broom handle, both when I was in grade school.
7. Have you ever finished reading an entire book in a day?
I did it in graduate school a few times, and several since. It just takes having interesting books that aren't super long and a whole day to spend.
8. Do you know how to play pool?
Yes. I played once in a while the year after graduating from college. (I lost a year before grad school waiting to see if I'd get drafted during the Vietnam War.)
9. If you had to be trapped in a TV show what would it be?
The Lone Ranger. The good guys always win, and (to misquote the song) people got shot, but they almost never died.
10. Do you dream often?
Yes. These days things I'm thinking about in bed often make strong appearances in dreams, which makes it difficult to know whether I've slept enough or not.
