They never got high here, always 18 under 5 bucks at the most. They've been your price for a while. Hope the omelet was great. What I've noticed here is quality has disappeared on lots of things, use by dates entirely useless. Of all the ills, meat is what is priciest here.
Someone on my list was keeping track of egg prices across the country. They were up to $7 a dozen for a while here, and $6 a lot of places. Meat is high, but we keep getting specials that aren't too bad. Pork is more reasonable than beef.
On some things, I have to agree about use-by dates.
I hope our felon-in-chief isn't making it tough for you folks at the border.
