ETA I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but everyone's posts seem so much richer, because as I read, I'm hearing them in my head with the person's actual voice now.

Your ETA. Yes, after Chicago this was my experience also. Has been since with everyone. The nuance and the vibrancy and the intonation makes it just so wonderful.

I just about lost it when I saw your photo of the stairs! I mean, that's my worst nightmare, and WTF? They're just...there. That's the weirdest thing I've ever seen. It's like somebody said, hey, Dub might stay in this cabin some day, this'll really freak her out.

Hee!

I was the first one there. When I opened the door and saw the stairs, I thought, "Good Lord, this and Dub would not be a good mix." Then I went part way up and noticed the stairs going back down again, and started worrying about my own poor knees! Your room could have been reached through the garage without all the climbing up and down. But the kitchen and best view were all upstairs.

Most all the cabins in that area had a lot of stairs, either inside or out.
V-8 had more stairs than V-3, but since the first set was out doors it didn't look as imposing.

Personally, I like to believe I'm pretty good at provoking sober Masq, too.

Hee, I discovered my own inner "mom voice" in Tahoe!
We made a great culinary team, I think. Your ETA is so true; I have all of your voices in my head now, and in my heart.

I suspect most Americans you would talk to would be surprised you don't speak English all the time. Even when you'd stop to think of a better word, often the first thing you thought of was perfectly acceptable and the second was better than most English speakers could come up with.

It's no secret. I really enjoyed meeting you and talking with you.

Awww, I'm glad you like my smile! I thought you had a great smile, especially with your moustache, and a great laugh too :)

Yes! Your accent is so cool, such an interesting drawl, and now I can imagine how it sounds when I read your posts!
