For not actually being on the lake it was about as good as it gets.

You can reconstruct the 180 degree view by matching the tree line near the main lake shore.

Most everyone stepped out on the balcony for a look at the full panorama, but the clouds of mosquitoes quickly drove us back inside!

The geese mostly stayed over at v-8 (messing the lawn), but we saw ducks and a variety of other birds in the sanctuary. The light spot out on the main lake in the first picture below is one of the paddle wheel boats. The dark spot in the air next to the house in the last picture is one of the swallows that darted around lowering the mosquito population on the wing.

Oh, gee, and gorgeous photos, of course. The view from "our" cabin really was spectacular, wasn't it?

It really was. Those of us who got up early enough saw the hot air balloon go up a few times every morning and paragliders along with the usual assortment of power boats and jet skis out on the lake all day long.
