Most of the rest of my pictures are of my trip up to Tahoe, but here are a final few that might be interesting
Heres a profile of TCH. It looks more somber than the occasion was, but it looks dignified and appropriate on his birthday.
LS, anom, and Elle on that big comfy couch in v-3.
This I believe is Mt. Whitney the highest point in California, and the highest point in the contiguous 48 States. This was taken from Manzanar the site of the internment of Japanese US citizens during World War two. A very lonely but beautiful place.
High up in the Sierras this is one of the ski areas at Mammoth Lakes. The runs were closed of course, but while I was there, a ski patrol snow mobile came down the slope beside the chair lift.

I'm still missing little Basil quite a bit, so I've done some surfing and found an active reptile community in Vancouver. I have a line on a young corn snake who will be ready to go by mid-August. Her name is Tabasco, and you can see why:
Isn't she beautiful? (Of course, appreciating the beauty of snakes is an acquired taste, I suppose.)

I like brightly colored spotted snakes, like this one and certain kingsnakes. My reptile book says corn snakes are noctural, so she can watch all your favorite evening shows with you. ;o)
I had a very small lizard (no doubt a hatchling) find its way into my house sometime when I was gone. I hope it finds it's way out, because I couldn't catch it and there aren't enough bugs in the house for it to live on!
