I'm glad Heroes is going on hiatus. Any more episodes like last night's any time soon and I'd just quit watching. One of Joss' great qualities is he always managed to get the story to move toward something. With the exception of last week's ep, Heroes is just aimless. Adding characters and killing them off isn't plot movement. Neither is introducing Claire to her family one member per episode. Neither is tension building for the sake of tension building. I suspect I'll finish watching the rest of the season when it comes back and then decide whether it's worth watching again next season.

I have to agree with [livejournal.com profile] scrollgirl. No hero; no watcho. ;o) There is nothing in The Black Donnelly's that would appeal to me. "Sticking by your family" was done very nicely in the Godfather movie series. I don't think TBD is going to add a thing.

Jeff Goldbloom's new show would look more interesting, if NBC didn't already have Medium. Crime shows are getting as common as Westerns used to be. Crime shows with supernatural themes aren't exactly rare any more. Not a good thing.

The best show on broadcast TV on Monday is The Class and other than a clever twist at the end of every episode, it's a fairly unremarkable sit-com.

I don't have Tivo or On-demand, since those things both cost money, and setting my VCR to tape is pretty much going too far out of my way to be worth it. Not to mention my lack of cable means most stations don't come in clearly anyhow.

Netflix is the answer! As long as you don't mind being a season or two behind all your friends.
