I saw a raven today. I know everyone else thinks of them as harbingers of gloom and doom, but I can't help thinking they are a funny bird. Rawk!

fresne knows more about wine than the rest of us put together. But that's good wine. This wine, enticingly called Herding Cats, is $3.30 a bottle. Your sense of humor will say, "yes, yes." Your taste buds and stomach will say, "no, no."
My cat was very eager to get me out of bed this morning. I couldn't figure out why. I had things to do, but he didn't. Anyway I came home from mailing cards and going to the store, and guess who's enjoying the covers. You know, usually he's willing to share.

Hee! That's awesome. :D
And I find this especially true for myself as I have absolutely ZERO skills in wine-purchasing and recently bought a bottle of chardonnay/merlot simply because it was a pretty pink colour. It tasted okay, but wow, it could have gone very badly.
