In 2011 I'm living in a 3 bedroom house in Peoria, AZ with my cat, Sirius.
In 2001 I was living in the same place, but it was newer and needed less fixing. No pets of my own
In 1991 I was living in my parents' old house in woods near the St. Louis, Missouri airport with my crazy, Shepard-mix Sandy.
In 1981 I was living in the same old house with my lovable, giant, half-Black-Lab half-Great-Dane, Crash.
In 1971 I was living in the graduate dorm at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO not to be confused with Columbia, SC where Mamcu lives. No pets save my roommate John, who soon decided life as a cloistered monk was more appealing than grad school. I spent my time filling out applications for the next year so I could get into a real graduate program in Russian.
1n 1961 I was living in my parents' house from above, oddly enough with my parents. Our dog, the Cocker Spaniel Cocoa, was sweet with people and very unpleasant toward male dogs he didn't know wandering onto our property. He wasn't allowed in the house except when my mother wasn't looking.
In 1951 I was living in that same house of my parents. Our family living there in 1951 included my older brother and sister. We'd moved in the year before. Only two bedrooms, but it had lots of room on the first floor, a full basement and an attic which would be finished off into living space by 1953. I don't remember for sure, but I think our cat, Midnight (guess what color he was), was still with us. I liked Midnight, but since I was a small child, he preferred to be where I wasn't.
