As in "big deal, it's summer. " My air conditioner has been running steady for weeks and weeks and I was happy I didn't need it as soon as usual this year. It's up to 110 this week in Phoenix, usual weather for this time of year. At least in a couple of weeks our monsoon should start and we'll get rain once in awhlie.

I feel a little trapped in the house lately. I won't get to go to the big ATPo meet, and Cheryl has been very busy lately, so I haven't had seeing her to look forward to. I still get out every week, but what with saving money for a new car next year, my budget is a little pinched. I don't do a lot when I do get out. Sigh.

This morning, I finally got around to working on my new novel as I've been promising dub. About the beginning of the year I had a lot of enthusiasm for it. but I've hit a spot where I'm thinking "Is this any good?" And the answer in my head isn't very encouraging.

You don't have an email listed? I was going to email you and then I brilliantly noticed this. If you ever to to a place where you'd like a beta reader, I would be interested. I can't always respond quickly though, and my forte isn't plot, etc so I don't offer to alpha read for people, and obviously, but I will say it anyway, no weight here. ;-)

Thanks

It's not even close to the beta stage!

This story is particularly for Wisewoman. (She was very sweet about reading a monstrous-sized novel I wrote several years ago.) But if I ever get it done and she says it's okay, I'll keep you in mind.
