A word to my flist

I just wanted to say to everyone that although I don't always respond to everyone I do try to look at every entry. Lately particularly, there have been some very sad, very compelling and very wondrous entries from my friends here. Just wanted to let people know that just because I can't think of the right thing to say, does mean I not thinking of you when times for you are tough, times for you are amazing or times for you are just simply living to the next day.

I find it's really hard to tell who's reading a post and who's not. Can't go by responses, really, because to be honest? I seldom respond to other people's entries - and don't always respond to them in my own journal. Do read. Just don't have much to say - or if I do, I delete because, it doesn't quite work. Responding like writing is often a mood thing. Sometimes I just want to read.

I think one of the benefits of lj over say email correspondence or letter correspondence or even posts on a discussion board, is responses aren't required.
